Every major tracked object currently in Earth orbit. Approximately 27,000 of them catalogued. This does not include the estimated 1,000,000 objects too small to track reliably. Those are also up there.

This visualisation represents the tracked debris population. ORC assesses objects for retrieval on a commercial basis. We have highlighted objects we have formally assessed. Several are awaiting an owner willing to initiate a mission.

Objects displayed are a representative sample of the publicly catalogued debris population. Orbital positions are approximate and illustrated for educational purposes. For authoritative tracking data, consult the US Space Surveillance Network or ESA Space Debris Office.
ORC ASSESSED OBJECTS
White objects have been formally assessed by ORC’s characterisation team. Assessment does not constitute a retrieval commitment. It does, however, mean we know where it is, approximately what it weighs, and how much it would cost to make it no longer anyone’s problem.

ORC accepts retrieval enquiries via the contact page. Not via this globe. We have added a button anyway. The button works exactly as well as you would expect given everything else on this website.
